Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Solver collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website, mobile application, AI assistant (Murmure), connected bots, or physical products.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in a transparent and secure manner.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Email address (newsletter, contact form, account creation)
- Name (optional)
- Messages or requests sent via our contact forms
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use our website or mobile application, we may collect certain information automatically.
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- App usage data and interactions
- IP address (anonymized when possible)
- Basic analytics data
- Location Data: We may collect precise or approximate location information when you explicitly use features such as 'Send Position' or 'Witness Mode'. This data is only processed to fulfill the requested action and is not used for background tracking without your consent.
- Shortcuts Integration: Solver AI interacts with the iOS Shortcuts app to execute user-defined routines. We do not collect or monitor the content of your personal shortcuts.
1.3 Voice Recordings and Transcriptions
When you record a voice note in the app, the audio is transcribed using OpenAI Whisper (a third-party AI transcription service). Transcriptions are stored in your personal account to power notes, diary, tasks, and AI memory. You can delete any transcription at any time.
1.4 AI Interactions and Memory
When you interact with Murmure, your messages are processed by AI models (currently OpenAI) through our secure server. Murmure maintains a personal memory system using vector embeddings (semantic representations of your past interactions) to provide contextual, personalized responses over time. This memory is private to your account and is never shared with other users. You can view and delete your AI memory at any time from Settings.
1.5 Photos and Images
Photos sent to Murmure are analyzed using AI vision capabilities (OpenAI). Images are processed in real time and are not stored permanently on our servers beyond the duration of the interaction.
1.6 Location Data
We collect precise or approximate location information only when you explicitly use location-based features such as Send Position, SOS alerts, nearby place recommendations, weather, or directions. Location data is not used for background tracking. You can disable location access at any time from your device settings.
1.6 Calendar Data
Apple Calendar: Calendar events may be read locally on your device for scheduling awareness (conflict detection). This data is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Google Calendar: When you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Murmure can list, create, update, and delete events on your behalf. This access is initiated only by your explicit actions or voice commands. Calendar events are queried in real time and are not stored as copies on our servers. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the app settings or by sending /unlinkgoogle on Telegram.
1.7 NFC and Device Data
When you scan a Solver device (NFC), we log the scan event (device type, timestamp) to associate the device with your account and enable configuration. Scan data is stored in your account and is not shared with third parties.
1.8 Payment Information
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Apple Stripe, or other payment platforms).
